Be with me O God, this is all I pray Wherever I may go, guard me on my way Give me bread to eat and give me clothes to wear Bring me home in peace, back to my father’s care If You won’t go with me, don’t make me leave this place For how else can I know if I’ve truly found Your grace Walk with me O LORD and take me by the hand Lead me like a child as I wander through the land You made me like Yourself, God deep within I know that like Adam my soul has sinned But don’t curse me like Cain, for I’ve shed no blood Like Noah, keep my head above the waters of the flood Bless me just like Abraham everywhere I roam Save me like his nephew Lot was saved from Sodom Be with me like Isaac in a stranger’s land Protect me like Jacob my life is in Your hand Redeem me like Israel from Mitzraim Show me like Joseph how to understand my dreams Speak to me like Moses Your Servant face to face Like Aaron let me come near Your most Holy Place Be with me O God, this is all I pray Wherever I may go, guard me on my way Give me bread to eat and give me clothes to wear Bring me home in peace, back to my father’s care If You won’t go with me, don’t make me leave this place For how else can I know if I’ve truly found Your grace Walk with me O LORD and take me by the hand Lead me like a child as I wander through the land Remember me like Sarah, when I’m old and gray Answer me like Rivkah every time I pray Lift me up like Leah if I’m feeling blue Love me like Rachel with a love that’s deep and true Show me where there’s water, as You showed Hagar Don’t burn me in the fire, LORD spare me like Tamar Treat me like the midwives who saved the Hebrew boys Let me dance like Miriam, let me sing with joy Give me judgment like Deborah, put my enemies to death Hear my voice like Hannah as I pray under my breath Bring me in like Ruth, LORD to You I’ll cling Show me grace like Esther when she stood before the king Be with me O God, this is all I pray Wherever I may go, guard me on my way Give me bread to eat and give me clothes to wear Bring me home in peace, back to my father’s care If You won’t go with me, don’t make me leave this place For how else can I know if I’ve truly found Your grace Walk with me O LORD and take me by the hand Lead me like a child as I wander through the land As You did for Joshua wage my wars for me Like Caleb let me follow You wholeheartedly If I test you like Gideon don’t let your anger flare Make me as strong as Samson before they cut his hair Call to me like Samuel, wake me from my sleep LORD You’re my shepherd, like David I’m Your sheep Give me the heart to understand like Solomon the wise Take me like Elijah let me rise up to the skies Make me like Elisha with a body that can heal Reveal Yourself to me like Ezekiel saw the wheel Like Jonah in the whale let me see daylight again Send Your angels when I’m down like Daniel in the lion’s den Be with me O God, this is all I pray Wherever I may go, guard me on my way Give me bread to eat and give me clothes to wear Bring me home in peace, back to my father’s care If You won’t go with me, don’t make me leave this place For how else can I know if I’ve truly found Your grace Walk with me O LORD and take me by the hand Lead me like a child as I wander through the land

This is a song for God HASHEM Elokeinu HASHEM Echad The Lord is God, the Lord is One Everything from a particle of dust to the sun Most of us live very phony lives We work boring jobs and fake husbands and wives Working nine to five to buy material things Like cars and clothes and diamond rings We easily lose sight of what is actually real Numb to the feelings that we actually feel Lose touch with our surrounding environments And instead see the world in terms of dollars and cents It’s easy to get caught up in your own little mind And forget that all life is completely entwined Cause every blade of grass and all of mankind Will add up to One when they’re all combined So love your neighbors even if they’re different than you Other races, religions, and other species too And just because you and another person don’t agree Doesn’t make you holier than he or she Just follow these rules for a blessed life Don’t kill, don’t steal, don’t cheat on your wife Don’t value an object over something that’s living Respect everybody and always be forgiving Cause the Universe is huge and we’re so small Just a part of the one that encompasses all So let go of your hatred, fill your heart with love For all of us below there is One above This is a song for God HASHEM Elokeinu HASHEM Echad The Lord is God, the Lord is One Everything from a particle of dust to the sun One is the darkness One is the light One is the day, and One is the night One is the land, One is the ocean One is stillness, and One is motion One is resistance, One is compliance One is religion, One is science One is a bird, One is a tree One is in you, and One is in me One is a Muslim, One is a Jew One is a Christian, and a Hindu One is an atheist, One is a Buddhist One is an anarchist, One is a nudist One is what you do, One is what you think One is what you eat, One is what you drink One is in your lungs every time you take a breath One is all life, and One is all death One is what you know, One is a surprise One is invisible in front of your eyes One is music, film, theatre, and art One is the end, One is the start This is a song for God HASHEM Elokeinu HASHEM Echad The Lord is God, the Lord is One Everything from a particle of dust to the sun

It’s Lag BaOmer, so leave your home Like Rebbi Shimon on Mount Meron Don’t stay and hide in your cave, go play With your friends outside it’s a beautiful day Shoot your bow and arrow up in the sky Get high on Torah like Bar Yochai Light your bonfire, pull an all-nighter On the Yartzeit of the Zohar writer Shimon bar Yochai was a holy guy Who was so much wiser than you and I He was a true believer, an overachiever From the yeshiva of Rebbi Akiva The Roman’s came they banned Torah teaching But Rebbi Akiva kept on preaching In prison he still taught students until The Roman’s had him tortured and killed And it was after this that Rebbi Shimon Yehuda, and Yossi were discussing Rome Yehudah said the Romans were sweet For building bathhouses, bridges, and streets Yossi sat silently, he heard Everything that was said but he spoke no word And Shimon answered and said, “All this That they made was just for their own interest They built market places with all those stores So they could fill them with harlots and whores Bathhouses just for themselves to wash And bridges to tax all those who cross When the Romans heard what the sages debated They praised Yehudah, had him elevated They exiled Yossi for just sitting still And declared that Shimon would have to be killed So he and his son went to hide away They stayed in the Beis Midrash each day His wife would bring them some water and bread But he feared they would torture her so they fled It’s Lag BaOmer, so leave your home Like Rebbi Shimon on Mount Meron Don’t stay and hide in your cave, go play With your friends outside it’s a beautiful day Shoot your bow and arrow up in the sky Get high on Torah like Bar Yochai Light your bonfire, pull an all-nighter On the Yartzeit of the Zohar writer Shimon and his son had to hide in a cave Only by a miracle were they saved A carob tree and a well were created For them to eat and drink while they waited They sat naked with the sand up to their necks To protect their garments from getting wrecked Only put on clothes when it was time to pray While they stayed in the cave and studied all day Twelve years they lived there on their own And secrets were shown to Rebbi Shimon The concealed was revealed to Bar Yochai As clear as that day at Har Sinai Finally Elijah appeared and said “The decree is cancelled, the Ceaser’s dead.” But when they emerged they saw there a man Plowing and planting seeds in the land Surprised they cried, “How could he forsake Eternal life, for this life that’s fake.” And every place to which they turned Their eyes, went up in flames and burned But then a voice from heaven cried “Have you emerged and come outside To destroy my world, you can’t behave Like this, now go back to your cave” So they returned there, forced to dwell Twelve month like the wicked stay in hell Until the voice from heaven said “Leave your cave.” And so they did It’s Lag BaOmer, so leave your home Like Rebbi Shimon on Mount Meron Don’t stay and hide in your cave, go play With your friends outside it’s a beautiful day Shoot your bow and arrow up in the sky Get high on Torah like Bar Yochai Light your bonfire, pull an all-nighter On the Yartzeit of the Zohar writer Many years went by and Bar Yochai Was laying in bed about to die It was Lag BaOmer, the thirty third day And when the sun set he would pass away He knew it was his last chance to give Over all his wisdom while he still lived And so he began to reveal many more Secrets of Torah than ever before His students gathered around his bed Rebbi Abba wrote every word he said He was goingg fast if a thing was lost Future generations would pay the cost Trying to fit all he had to say To his students into that single day Rebbi Abba was writing but the sunlight Was sinking and there was too much to write But he kept on teaching and teaching and yet The sun stood still and refused to set A burning fire surrounded the house None could enter none could go out And when he finished speaking at last The house was lit by a brilliant flash As Rebbi Shimon returned his soul To its Maker, pure, righteous, and whole And to this day the whole Jewish nation Is still being nourished by his revelation Bar Yochai gave us the Zohar On the eighteenth day in the month of Iyar It’s Lag BaOmer, so leave your home Like Rebbi Shimon on Mount Meron Don’t stay and hide in your cave, go play With your friends outside it’s a beautiful day Shoot your bow and arrow up in the sky Get high on Torah like Bar Yochai Light your bonfire, pull an all-nighter On the Yartzeit of the Zohar writer
