Johnny Rappleseed

My name is Johnny Rappleseed, my garden is your mind
And everywhere I go leave a little love behind
The earth is my orchard the word is my crop
And wherever I wander, I let lyrics drop
My songs of hope grow strong and free
Branch out like limbs of an olive tree
My beak it speaks of peace like a dove
Reminding mankind of God’s great love
From coast to coast, border to border
Cleveland to Eugene, LA to Florida
The east to the west, the north to the south
I run all around while I run my mouth
I don’t need a stage I can do it on the street
Finding fertile ground in the hard concrete
Cause I don’t plant seeds, I plant CD’s
That make love and kindness grow like trees
My name is Johnny Rappleseed, my garden is your mind
And everywhere I go leave a little love behind
The earth is my orchard the word is my crop
Wherever I wander, I let lyrics drop
Got to keep moving I stay on the roam
And when I’m on the road it feels like home
Love to go a-wandering never stay on track
Val-deri, val-dera, knapsack on my back
Walk in the way that the wind is blowing
Flying from place to place like a Boeing
Touch down in each town I got a show in
Where I’ll be next there is no knowing
Drop CD’s every time I’m flowing
Then when I leave my songs keep going
Even if I die my trees still growing
Others will reap from the seeds I’m sowing
My Name is Johnny Rappleseed, my garden is your mind
And everywhere I go leave a little love behind
The earth is my orchard the word is my crop
Wherever I wander, I let lyrics drop
Everywhere I go my trees take root
Got food to eat each place they bear fruit
Limbs of love are my sheltering shade
Worth far more than the money I made
I give away songs all day like a gift
With pure positivity try to uplift
Each track, each verse, each line, each letter
I use my words to make the world better
Until our cities are greener than plants
Til enemies gather together and dance
Until each moment is like a first kiss
And the whole universe blossoms with bliss
My Name is Johnny Rappleseed, my garden is your mind
And everywhere I go leave a little love behind
The earth is my orchard the word is my crop
Wherever I wander, I let lyrics drop

East & West
03:18
|
|||
I’m happy as I can be depressed
Cause the earth is cursed, to be so blessed
My will is free but I feel oppressed
By the accidents that I manifest
The more I think I know even less
Good from bad and no from yes
As a matter of fact it’s a wild guess
Only way to pass is to skip the test
Wake up in time, for your mind to rest
From trash stashed in your treasure chest
One man’s worst is another man’s best
Fly to far east turns into the west
What’s the goal when you take a stroll?
There whole lot of ways to direct your soul
North and south are stuck on a pole
East and west just stay on the roll
What God sows is what God reaps
Everything started in a garden to the east
Our family is one, that seems to increase
Your cousin’s aunt is your grandpa’s niece
Why die for the pie, trying to get a little peace
Or fight to make all the violence cease
Who came first the eggs or the geese?
It doesn’t really matter in the belly of the beast
One may starve while another may feast
But new life is born out from the deceased
And the greatest things are made of the least
In a while west turns into the east
What’s the goal when you take a stroll?
There whole lot of ways to direct your soul
North and south are stuck on a pole
East and west just stay on the roll
I can’t slow down when I express
More food for thought that you can digest
My mind is multicolored mess
Not black white like I game of chess
I’m a failure who had success
At being homeless now I’m your guest
I love your house but I’m not impressed
Cause under the covers we’re both undressed
You found a bank and lost interest
Buy too much and you get possessed
One bird’s cage is another bird’s nest
Fly to far east turns into the west
What’s the goal when you take a stroll?
Whole lot of ways to direct your soul
North and south are stuck up a pole
East and west just stay on the roll

Abraham
04:22
|

Father Abraham was born
Into the world of Babylon
A sinful place where people prayed
To idols they themselves had made
Even at home he was all alone
Refusing to bow to a piece of stone
Family idols he smashed to bits
For he knew the Lord exists
Shunned by all and called a traitor
Cause he knew God was greater
Than an object made by man
And he was the first to understand
He had two sons and both were blessed
By the Almighty One, with great success
They obeyed the Lord’s command
And to this day they rule the land
Lets put our differences behind us
Out of sight and out of mind cause
If you look where we begin
You and me are kin
It seems now we’re back at the start
The world is being torn apart
By wicked greedy violent men
Who worship idols once again
The young are corrupted by the old
Bought and sold for a piece of gold
Given guns and taught to kill
Believing murder is God’s will
The Ten commandments they forget
Their alter is their TV set
Bowing down to glowing screens
Ignoring God they praise machines
No matter where I turn my eyes
Babylon is on the rise
Everyone thinks God is man
Where is the clan of Abraham?
Lets put our differences behind us
Out of sight and out of mind cause
If you look where we begin
You and me are kin
Islam and Israel are at odds
As though they worship different Gods
Jews and Muslims don’t be tricked
You have no reason for conflict
Share the land put down your gun
You both love the Almighty One
And wicked men love nothing more
Than to see those who fear God at war
Stop fighting with one another
Grab a hammer bring your brother
Follow in your father’s path
Many idols must be smashed
Drugs and guns and television
We are One with no division
Rip to shreds your books of hate
Do not wait til it’s to late
Lets put our differences behind us
Out of sight and out of mind cause
If you look where we begin
You and me are kin

Hamas

So you want to criticize Israel that’s cool
But if you support Hamas, you’re a fool
Unless you want radical Islamic rule
And stockpiles of rockets at your kids school
Remember they send their own people out strapped
With suicide bombs blowing up in their lap
You think they seek peace, that’s a bunch of crap
They just want to wipe Israel off the map
Let me start off slow so you don’t get lost
Palestinians are not the same as Hamas
Though they may live in the same location
Hamas is a terrorist organization
They may call themselves freedom fighters
But they’re just like the Taliban and Al-Queada
Using lethal force on Arabs, Jews
And anyone else who disagrees with their views
Due to their violence they have been banned
From Jordan, Canada, and Japan
The whole EU, plus the UK
Australia, Egypt, and the USA
But in Israel the situation is harder
They kidnap Israeli, then use them to barter
If one murders Jews he’s raised a martyr
Just take a look at Hamas’s own charter
They want Islam controlling the whole Middle East
Two states don’t interest them in the least
So tell me how Jews are supposed to make peace
With an enemy who just wants to see us deceased
So you want to criticize Israel that’s cool
But if you support Hamas, you’re a fool
Unless you want radical Islamic rule
And stockpiles of rockets at your kids school
Remember they send their own people out strapped
With suicide bombs blowing up in their lap
You think they seek peace, that’s a bunch of crap
They just want to wipe Israel off the map
Gazans are living in poverty
But Hamas just went on a building spree
Of underground tunnels, through which they planned
To unleash attacks on Israeli land
Using eighty thousand tons of cement
A valuable resource that could have went
To development of new apartments
To help Palestinians who can’t pay the rent
Iran has given them hundreds of millions
But they shoot it all at Israeli civilians
Their rockets get blown by the Iron Dome
While their own people are starving at home
And it’s even worse on the battlefield
Where they wield civilians like human shields
Israel uses weapons when it’s people are threatened
But Hamas uses people to protect their weapons
If I was from Gaza I would be pissed
But to be honest I wouldn’t resists
Cause Hamas’s rivals all wind up dead
Tortured before they get shot in the head
So you want to criticize Israel that’s cool
But if you support Hamas, you’re a fool
Unless you want radical Islamic rule
And stockpiles of rockets at your kids school
Remember they send their own people out strapped
With suicide bombs blowing up in their lap
You think they seek peace, that’s a bunch of crap
They just want to wipe Israel off the map
